1. What is NCVT/SCVT?

NCVT stands for National Council of Vocational Training an affiliating body of DGE&T, Ministry of Labor & Employment, Government of India. SCVT stands for State Council of Vocational Training an affiliation body of Board of Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi.

2. What is the latest benefit scheme offered by UP government to it is pass-outs?

As per the latest scheme the students of 8th and 10th class will be considered to have cleared 10th and 12th class respectively upon passing ITI examination and a Hindi paper of the respective class. They will be offered certificate for the same.

3. Will Hindi be taught in the institute to pass high school examination?

Yes, Hindi will be taught to candidates on chargeable basis.

4. What extra learning and grooming is provided by the institute?

There is a provision for vocational training course for personality development and to improve English-speaking for candidates.

5. What is the criteria for selection of trainees to ITI's

As per the recommendation of NCVT admission in ITI s are to be made purely on merit based on the marks secured by the candidate in the public examination of the minimum qualification prescribed for the individual trade. Where ever there is no public examination at the minimum qualification level the merit may be made on the marks obtained by the candidate in the written examination conducted by the State Directorate for the purpose of admission.

6. What is the age limit for joining a Industrial Training Institute

The candidates of 14 - 40 years of age as on date of start of admission session are eligible for admission in ITI s.

7. Do I need an E-mail ID for filling online application?

No, but you need to mention your mobile number for receiving SMS related to admission.

8. What is the total fee for any course in ITI?

Please refer the fee structure mentioned in the Prospectus.

9. Will I get a total refund, if I withdraw my admission?

No the entire fee will be forfeited in case of withdrawal/cancellation of seat by the candidate.

10. How many choices can I fill in my option?

Candidate can fill as many choices of trade/Institutes are offered.

11. Do I need to bring any document at the time of admission?

Please refer to instructions in Prospectus.

12. Can I get admission in more than one course at the same period?

No. Candidate can learn only one course at a time.

13. What are the Courses conducted by the Institute?

Currently we are running four courses: 1. Fitter 2. Electrician 3. Sewing technology 4. Welder

14. How many seats are admitted every year in each course?

Please refer to Prospectus.

15. What are the timings for courses offered by the Institutes?

There will be three shift: Morning, Afternoon and Evening.

16. Are you providing any books/study material during training period, and is there any fee for it?

Yes, but it will be chargeable on MRP basis.

17. What if I want more information about careers and job skills?

Please refer to Prospectus and know about our placement partners and career options one can explore after doing the course in ITI.

18. Is there any rebate/concession for ITI pass-outs in apprenticeship training?

ITI pass-outs get rebate in the period of apprenticeship training. (For example the duration of training of apprentices in Fitter trade is 3 years ITI pass-outs in Fitter trade will undergo apprenticeship training for only one year. Because rebate for 2 years of training for Fitter trade is provided as the duration of Fitter trade in ITI is 2 years)
